About Walton Heath Manor: Our Team

At Walton Heath Manor we recognise that the quality of our staff is crucial to the quality of our services.

The majority of our care staff hold a Health and Social Care Diploma or NVQ qualification and receive intensive induction and ongoing training to ensure that Walton Heath Manor provides the best possible residential care.

We also maintain high levels of staffing, so that we have the resources to provide each of our residents with the time and attention necessary to fully meet their individual care and support needs.

Our care team at our care home in Tadworth is complemented by our housekeeping staff, some of whom hold NVQ or Diploma qualifications, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all times.

Other key members of our team are our two chefs, and our activities manager, who is supported by two activities assistants.

Because the comfort, safety and security of our residents is always a priority, our ensure that Walton Heath Manor is maintained to the highest standards and that any safety issues at our care home in Tadworth, Surrey, are dealt with promptly and effectively.

The Walton Heath Manor team is led by matron-manager Teresa Chandler, who is supported by an administrator and three care co-ordinators.

Walton Heath Manor is owned by Hamilton House Medical, a specialist in residential care for the elderly. David Edmondson, the company’s managing director, takes a close interest in the home and the way it is run and visits on a weekly basis. His active involvement means that he knows every member of our staff and he also seeks to meet and get to know every resident and their family.
